The Producer Responsibility Scheme on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WPRS) has been fully implemented in 2018. This will provide a long-term solution to potential land contamination and environmental problems arising from mishandling WEEE during delivery, storage and dismantling processes, marking another important milestone in Hong Kong's waste reduction and recycling efforts.

Consumers can fill out the "Free removal service selection record" provided by the vendor at the time of purchase and choose one of the following:

1. Abandon the free removal service:

The vendor (ie our company) will not arrange for the free removal service and the customer will be handled by himself.

ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Ltd. Contact Number: 2676 8888

2. Select statutory free removal service

The vendor will arrange statutory free removal service. The vendor (ie our company) will contact the government-sponsored ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Ltd. for pickup service within at least three working days.

*The recycling party can refuse to accept if the old Electronic Equipment has serious Hygiene issue.

3. Consider appropriate free removal service when needed

If you need to consider it, you can still reply within three days whether the seller (ie our company) chooses to use the free removal service. If there is no reply within three days, it will be equivalent to abandoning the statutory free removal service  (ie, option 1).
